Dennis West integrates research, learning and engagement about governance and innovation in organisational transitions. He Co-Chairs the Transition Valuation Project, is a Researcher at Saïd Business School and is an Associate at Oxford Net Zero. He serves as the Chair of the Board at Greenings, an international non-profit member network founded in 2011. His background in law, accounting, and organisation studies informs his doctoral research on the emergence of standards and how users interact with them. He previously co-founded several initiatives and businesses, including one of the earliest renewable-energy fintech startups. Today, Dennis regularly moderates and speaks at events such as London Climate Action Week and the World Economic Forum.

Currently, his research focuses on how organisations engage with standard-setting bodies to shape international norms, how they interact with laws and regulations, and how decision-makers in business and policy engage with those standards and systems.
